PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera that prints out a photographed image on the spot. SOLUTION: This camera has an image pickup element 12 that photographs an object and converts the image of the object into digital image data, a control circuit 13 that stores the digital image data in a memory 14, and a head 4 that generates a hard copy of the object image based on the digital image data stored in the memory 14. Thus, the object image is hard-copied on the spot.
