PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition for a topical use, capable of treating wrinkles and fine wrinkles, effectively stiffening skin tissue and subcutaneous tissue and further recovering skin brightness by including a dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate. SOLUTION: This composition contains 0.001-0.5 wt.% based on the total weight of a dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate (e.g. dehydroisoandrosterone=3- sodium sulfate or the like). Preferably the composition further contains one or more activators (e.g. 5-n-octanoylsalicylic acid or the like) selected from anα-hydroxy acid, aβ-hydroxy acid, anα-keto acid, etc., and one or more hormones (e.g. estrone or the like) selected from a natural and a synthetic estrogenic progesterone-like and androgen-like hormones.
