PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the stable engaged state between the filter element winding shaft and the driving shaft with a simple and compact structure. SOLUTION: This filter element supply device of air cleaner for car comprises a casing 1 to be mounted inside the car, a feeding shaft 3 and a winding shaft 4 of a filter element 2 respectively disposed in the casing 1, and a rotational driving mechanism 5 that drives the winding shaft 4 by rotation. In the casing 1, a shaft bearing member 7 having a support groove 17 rotatively supporting end portions of the feeding shaft 3 and the winding shaft 4, and an aperture 18 for introducing the end portions of the feeding shaft 3 and the winding shaft 4 to the support groove. Furthermore, a spring member 19 is disposed such that it covers the aperture 18 of the shaft bearing member 7, by which the end portions of the feeding shaft 3 and the winding shaft 4 are detachably retained in the supporting groove 17.
