The tension device comprises a tension piston (22) which acts on the brake unit via a coupling part (24), a spindle (26) and a tube nut (28) screwed onto the spindle. The spindle by means of a sprung pre-tensioned coupling (Z) is secured against the coupling part and thus against the tension piston, preventing rotation. The tube nut is secured against the housing (21) to prevent rotation. A support part is formed as a plate (30) fixed to the housing. It may also be formed as a dismantable screw inserted in a thread (G) in the housing. An Independent claim is included for an emergency release tool (6) which can be screwed into the spring accumulator brake device, thereby supporting on the housing.
