<p>The invention concerns a method for lubricating a gearbox with parallel shafts (3, 4) arranged inside a crankcase (18, 21) provided with an intermediate wall (19) delimiting therein a compartment (21) containing at least a pair of pinions (11, 17) transmitting the couple on certain ratios of the gearbox while allowing oil to circulate between said compartment (21) and the remainder of the crankcase (18). The invention is characterised in that said circulation is controlled so as to raise the oil level in the compartment (21) when one of said ratios is engaged.</p> |
