The invention concerns a tyre with radial body reinforcement (1) of low H/S ratio, whereof at least one tyre bead is provided with an axially external protuberance (45) whereof the maximal axial width is greater then the rim (J) space requirement. The invention is characterised in that said protuberance (45) is provided with cuts (46) of non null width, of depth not more than 5 mm and arranged mutually parallel along the circumference.
