PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply a time series effect such as a delay or the like in the same mode as that before the change of tempo even when a singer changes the tempo of a performance by changing the magnitude of temporal effect according to the change of tempo of a performance by a tempo control means by an effect applying means. SOLUTION: When the tempo of a performance is changed to 83%, for example, according to tempo control data, and the clock period (beat interval) is extended to 120%, that is, the performance temp is changed to a quarter note = 100, one time advances at interval of 600 ms. By multiplying the delay time (effect control parameter) by tempo control data to change, that is, extending the delay time to 120%, as shown in Fig. C in the drawing, echo voice is output at interval of 300 ms. Accordingly, echo voice is output at the interval of 1/2 beat similarly to that in the case of basic tempo (quarter note = 120) shown in Fig. A, so that even when changing performance tempo, echo effect can be exhibited at the maximum. |
