PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive plate making machine generating no noise during operation. SOLUTION: In a plate making machine having a section 2 for removing dust remaining on the surface of a plate member after an image part is formed on the surface of a plate material by a thermal energy applying means 1, the dust removing section 2 comprises means 13 for charging dust being generated at the time of plate making and left on the surface of the plate material, a pair of electrodes 16, and means for applying a voltage to these electrodes 16. Charged dust is attracted to the pair of electrodes 16 thence separated therefrom and removed. |
