<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To positively and efficiently eliminate an insulating coating from the entire surface of the core of a lead terminal part by melting and liberating the insulating coating of the lead terminal part through the heat generation of a conductive core due to induction heating, and by quickly cooling the insulating coating with a cooling agent for setting to a fragile state for brushing. SOLUTION: A lead terminal treating device is provided with a work set rest 4, where for example, a motor 2 that has a plurality of leads 3 in which the surface of a core 3a is covered with an insulating coating 3b is set, and a heating coil 5 is arranged near the work set rest 4. In such a treating device 1, the terminal part of the lead 3 is subjected to induction heating, an eddy current is induced in the core 3a, and an insulating coating 3b of the surface is subjected to liberation by melting, is quickly cooled by the jet of nitrogen gas, is hardened, set to a fragile state, and further brushed by rotary brushes 11 and 12 for breaking down and removing, thus simultaneously eliminating the insulating coating 3b at the terminal part of a plurality of leads 3 and hence improving the efficiency of removal work.</p> |
