PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric heater with a simply designed circuit for removing health hazards to human bodies by changing an alternating magnetic field generated from an electric heater wire to a static magnetic field when an alternating current power supply is used, and an electric heater with a simply designed circuit capable of preventing generation of continuous noises caused by alternating magnetic fields and pulse-like single-shot noises caused by on-off operations, etc., of the switches in the neighboring AV apparatuses and information apparatuses. SOLUTION: This electric heater is provided with an alternating current/direct current convert circuit having a capacitor of 10000μF capacitance and a negative characteristic thermistor (NTC) as an inrush current suppressing means, capable of converting an alternating current into a filtered direct current and causing a ripple factor (%) given by (the maximum value of ripple voltage -the minimum value thereof)/the means direct current voltage×100, to be 1.0% or less, and a pulse noise generation preventing circuit.
