PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved filter to remove contaminants from air stream passing through a printer. SOLUTION: The first part 261 and the second part 268 of an air permeable member 212 are sealed along a periphery by heat, so that the heat-sealed parts of the first part and second parts form a reinforced part 230 integrated with the air permeable member 212. When the air permeable member 212 is attached to a flange 210, the reinforced part 230 possesses an effect to maintain a shape which is optimized so as to effectively accept an air flow 202 by the aperture 216 of the air permeable member 212.
