The adjustable flow restrictor has a pair of discs (6) that are secured with a common spindle (4) and can be rotated relative to each other. A sealing ring (5) is between the mating surfaces. Within the rings are a number of holes (6) on a constant pitch circle diameter. The discs can be turned relative to each other to vary the flow cross section.
