PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily ride on a step when an operator gets in and out of a driver's room by sideways and horizontally extending the step from an accommodated position neighboring to a side surface of a car body to a used position and interlocking with a braking operation of a parking brake to turn the step to the used position. SOLUTION: A step 4 for getting in and out of which a base end is pivotably mounted at a lower end portion of a car body 2 of a construction vehicle by a step pin 5 is turnable from an accommodated position A neighboring to a side surface 21 of the car body 2 to a used position B approximately horizontally extending to a side of the car body 2. When traveling of the construction vehicle is stopped and an operator gets out, the operator stamps a parking brake pedal to a braking position. So, a lever 14 is turned and a pull cable 12 for braking is drawn out to operate the parking brake 11 to become a braking state. Simultaneously, since a push cable 8 for a step is drawn out, the step 4 is turned to the used position B and abutted on a stopper 10 to be fixed. |
