<p>A condensed imidazole derivative represented by formula (1) or (2) wherein X and Z represent N or CH, A represents N or C-R5, Y represents O, S, SO, SO¿2? or NH, k is 0 or 1, m is 0, 1 or 2 and n is 1 or 2; R?1¿ represents a phenyl group, a pyridyl group, a dihydropyridyl-4-on group or the like; R?2 and R4¿ represent a phenyl group, a pyridyl group, a substituted phenyl group or the like; and R?5 and R6¿ both represent H or together represent an atom group forming an aromatic ring together with the carbon atoms to which they are attached, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, which is useful as a therapeutic agent for liver disease with no serious adverse effect.</p> |
