FIELD: transport engineering; optical systems for evaluating road situation at maneuvering. SUBSTANCE: proposed device can be used both on cars with steering wheel at right side, when moving along right driving roads and on cars with steering wheel at left side, when moving along left driving roads. Forward view device has two mirrors installed inside car at angle relative to each other to provide periscopic effect and reflection of front part of road in driver's field of view. Mirrors are mounted in hollow rigid housing installed inside car at upper or lower edge of windshield glass. Adjuster can be provided for fine adjustment of mirrors.
