PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a recording paper sent while caught between a middle transfer drum and a transfer roller from adhering to the middle transfer drum. SOLUTION: A core material 11 of a middle transfer drum 10 is formed of aluminum and an outer sheath 12 is formed of rubber. A transfer roller 30 is formed of SUS. Since a circumferential face of the transfer roller 30 has a lower hardness than a circumferential face of the middle transfer drum 10, a recording paper 87 is deformed at a nip part P1 to an arc conforming to the circumferential face of the transfer roller 30 and is curled to bend upward. As a result, the recording paper 87 passing the nip part P1 can be guided to a direction shown by an arrow F3 not to approach the circumferential face of the middle transfer drum 10. |
