PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate the component of each loud speaker in each ear in real time by canceling a contribution by a corresponding speaker among sounds which are received by each of listener's ears, SOLUTION: Reverse phase component estimate sections 42-A, 42-B sequentially estimate reverse phase signals contributed by loud speakers 12A, 12B among sounds reaching ears 13L, 13R of a listener. The reverse phase component estimate sections 42-A, 42-B include adaptive filters, that output each input signal to channels corresponding to sound generating sources 14L, 14R and sound receiving sections 25L, 25R that receiver reference signals for activating the adaptive filters and form a directivity. Thus, the reverse phase signals resulting from sound components by the speakers 12A, 12B which arrived at the ears 13L, 13R of the listener are estimated in real time. Thus, the spatial acoustic signal is more accurately reproduced, such as desired sound image localization. |
