PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the deterioration of engagement force from a first engagement after the repeated engagement by forming a loop part which is formed by means of a needle punch method at one front surface side of a water-jet entangled web in the female material of a hook-and-loop fastener. SOLUTION: This female material 11 is provided with a loop part 15 which is projected from the water-jet entangled web 13 and it favorable to arrange a smooth area 17 constituted by heating and melt-bonding configuration fibers at the side of a front surface which is different from the front surface where the loop part 15 of the web 13 is arranged. The smooth area 17 is arranged for reducing fluffing which occurs by pulling-out the loop part 15 from a fiber web by a male-type element after the repetition of the engagements. Multi- component fibers where more than two kinds of resins which are mutually different in melting point and are arranged in the configuration of side by side, sheath-core or the like are used as thermo-bondable fibers. The web obtained by carding staple fibers and spunbond nonwoven fabrics constituted by long fibers are adopted as the fiber web. |
