PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure for an accelerator housing capable of simplifying welding work and relaxing stress concentration in a connection part between a spring seat and the accelerator housing. SOLUTION: Almost a trough-shaped flange part 20 extended in a direction separating from each other to mount an accelerator housing 1 is formed in a pair of side wall parts 8A of a spring seat 2. The accelerator housing 1 is mounted in the flange part 20, by spreading a connection area of both the flange part and the accelerator housing, concentration of stress in a connection part can be relaxed. A tip end part of the flange part 20 and an abutted part 16C to the accelerator housing 1 are welded, so as to broaden a welding work space, workability is improved. Welding of the abutted part 16C can be performed with a total region thereof serving as the object by the abutted part 16C without receiving interference of a bolt 3. Consequently, large welding strength is ensured, necessity for welding to an inner side part of the side wall part 8A, required for technique in the past, is eliminated, and productivity can be improved. |
