PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily prevent the sticking of dust etc., against an objective lens by the simple constitution. SOLUTION: An optical pickup 10 is driven by an optical pickup driving means to the radial direction of a compact disk 60. When the operation is completed, the optical pickup 10 is moved up to the inner peripheral side than the position of a detection switch 72 at the read-out position of the TOC (index) information. Since the side of exposing surface of the objective lens 16 is covered by a turntable at the time not in operation, the sticking of dust etc., on the objective lens is prevented without using a shutter mechanism. |
