PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve lubrication of a bearing which supports an output shaft of a vertical planetary gear type reduction gear. SOLUTION: A sleeve 18 is arranged between a lower end face of an inner ring 14a of a lower bearing 14 which supports an output shaft 12, and an upper end face of a gear 15 arranged on a lower end of the output shaft 12, which sleeve 18 has an outer diameter larger than that of the outer ring 14b of the lower bearing 14. An oil seal 17 is interposed between an outer peripheral surface 18c of the sleeve 18 and an inner peripheral wall of a housing 4. A recessed surface 18b is formed on an upper surface of the sleeve 18 by recessing upward from the contact surface with an inner ring 14a of the lower bearing 14. An upper end 18d of the outer peripheral edge of the sleeve 18 is located in the vicinity of the lower end of the outer ring 14b of the lower bearing 14. Oil passages 19, 20 are formed on the inner peripheral wall of the housing 4, which have lower ends opened to the upper side outer peripheral edge of the sleeve 18, and upper ends opened into the housing on the side of an outer ring 13b of an upper bearing 13.
