ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT AND CANCELING METHOD FOR ITS LOW-POWER-CONSUMPTION MODE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic equipment which is set in a low-power- consumption mode when shipped from the factory and in which the mode is not canceled until a user connects the electronic equipment to a charging circuit. SOLUTION: The electronic equipment 100 includes a secondary battery 106 and a microcomputer 101 operating with the secondary battery 106 and is controlled by the microcomputer 101. Here, a means 102 which cancels the low-power-consumption mode is provided only when the secondary battery 106 is charged while the electric power is supplied from the secondary battery 106 to the microcomputer 101 after the microcomputer 101 is set in the low- power-consumption mode.
