PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the accurate detection of phase position, even in conditions in which there is no special position detector. SOLUTION: This microcomputer 7 as a controller is provided with a position detection counter 75 which counts the number of pulses at the time of driving a pulse motor, a stop position storage 76 which stores the phase position at drive stoppage of a pulse motor, and an accordance determiner 77 which corrects the count value of the position detection counter 75, using the stop phase position information stored in the stop position storage 76 at the start of the drive of the pulse motor. Here, the discrepancy between the phase position detected by the counter and the actual drive of the pulse motor can be prevented, by backing up the phase position at stoppage of the pulse motor in advance, and stopping the counting action of the position detection counter 75 until the phase condition of a drive current becomes the backed-up phase, when restarting the pulse motor is after that started. |
