PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate writing property abnormality due to leakage of ink, and cracks at a press-fitted part by a method wherein a joint, between an ink tank and a nib, is constituted of either one of specified polystyrene based modified resins, or a combination of resins containing a rubber component or the like in addition. SOLUTION: A joint 2 is formed of either one of a modified PPO (an alloy of polyphenylene oxide and polystyrene), a modified PPE (an alloy of polyphenylene ether and polystyrene), or SPS (an alloy of syndiotactic polystyrene and a rubber component). Therefore, a process when a wet property is modified becomes easier, and a stable manufacture can be performed. Also, these resins have an elongation of approx. 20%, and the resistances against acidic and alkaline properties, and a water-soluble solvent which is used for an ink, are high, and cracks when a member such as a nib is press-fitted by the joint 2, and a stress corrosion crack due to a water-soluble ink solvent are prevented from occurring. |
