HAIR COSMETIC COMPOSITION HAVING DANDRUFF FORMATION- CONTROLLING EFFECT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair cosmetic composition which exhibits an improved anti-dandruff effect. SOLUTION: This hair cosmetic composition is characterized by containing zinc pyrithione as an anti-dandruff bacterium agent and an N- acylethylenediamine triacetate. The N-acylethylenediamine triacetate added as a solvent base agent for the zinc pyrithione can non only increase the solubility of the zinc pyrithione to give improved anti-dandruff effect, but also itself can maintain the neutral property. Thereby, after the zinc pyrithione is dissolved, the precipitation phenomenon of the zinc pyrithione can be prevented due to the pH adjustment of the composition.
