PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a comprehensible display by indicating clearly whether jamming state of a road is monitored or not without missing necessary road information. SOLUTION: The navigation system for vehicle comprises means 101 for acquiring traffic information, means 102 for storing map information, means 103 for controlling display format, means 104 for modifying the display format of map information depending on the display format being controlled by the means 103, means 105 for controlling display of a plurality of screens, and means 106 for displaying traffic information from the means 104 and map information from means 104 on a plurality of screens controlled by means 105. Traffic information is displayed while being superposed on the map information by controlling the means 106 to display only such roads as the traffic information thereof is monitored or main roads. |
