LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form contact holes in a liquid crystal display device in a case a dyeing method is developed to a color filter on array. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device is produced by sealing liquid crystals into the spacing between an array substrate having pixel electrodes and switching active elements and a counter substrate having counter electrodes. A UV curing resin 6A is formed on the substrate 3 formed with the switching active element 4 and the switching active element 4 and this UV curing resin 6A is colored by the dyeing method, by which a color filter 6 is formed. The contact hole 7 is formed by a photolithography method on the UV curing resin 6A forming this color filter 6 and a pixel electrode 9 is formed on the UV curing resin 6A. The pixel electrode 9 and the switching active element 4 are conducted through the contact hole 7.
