<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance accuracy on the contact surface corresponding to a flat plug contact to realize sure contact, and enhance characteristics and productivity in a jack connector. SOLUTION: A jack connector consists of a jack terminal 311 having a jack contact 121a comprising contact pieces 121a' faced so as to come in contact with both surfaces of a plug contact 111a and an insulator bonding part 311a having a U-shaped cross section, and a square jack insulator 312 having a terminal hole 312a having a pillow-shaped projection 312b located along an opening on the inner wall surface on the opening side of the insulator bonding part, corresponding to the insulator bonding part 311a, and a bulge formed in the vicinity of the end side on the opening side of the insulator boding part 311a comes in contact with the side surface of the pillow-shaped projection 312b when the jack terminal 311 is forcibly inserted into the terminal hole 312a.</p> |
