PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fabric for deodorizing wherein by making a corrosion- resistant film transparent, the color and the picture pattern provided with a carrier fabric are made visible through photocatalyst film and oxygen can be cleaned as before and there exists no possibility of corrosion of a carrier fabric with activated oxygen generated and the fabric is easily processed to interior items such as curtains and bedclothes in an article wherein a flexible fibrous fabric is used as a carrier for a photocatalyst. SOLUTION: In a fabric for deodorizing wherein a corrosion-resistant film 11 with corrosion resistance to active oxygen is formed on the surface of a fabric F consisting of a synthetic fiber and a transparent photocatalyst film 12 consisting of a metal oxide with a photocatalyst function is formed on this corrosion-resistant film 11, the corrosion-resistant film 11 is formed of a transparent film consisting of silicon dioxide, aluminum oxide or zirconium oxide. |
