DEVICE FOR SURFACE STRENGTHENING OF PARTS (FLYWHEEL)

FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device operates from generator which supplies ultrasonic oscillations through magnetostriction transducer. Asymmetric seat is formed at waveguide end face for arrangement of part being treated and working tool in form of steel balls. Balls move inside seat intensively and strike on part surface, thereby strengthening it. Steel balls are packed in seat tightly by means of punch and dynamometric wrench with static force measuring instrument. Treatment of part is performed by means of shot and with aid of ultrasonic oscillations, as well as in combined variant. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 3 dwg
