Rapid production of a component out of a foil laminate

The method for producing a three-dimensional component consisting of foils which are joined to one another and are cut by means of a laser beam. Joining of the foils to one another takes place by successive scanning of each top foil using the laser beam. Preferred Features: The laser beam is defocussed for purposes of joining of the foils. The foils consist of a thermoplastic material, and are welded to one by the effect of the laser beam. Alternatively they consists of solder coated metal, and are soldered to one another by the effect of the laser beam. The foils can also consist of paper, plastics or metal, and are coated with an adhesive.
