PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat transfer unit for an air preheater for enhancing a corrosion resistance, by preventing an inner surface of a bucket shell from being corroded. SOLUTION: In the heat transfer unit comprising a bucket shell 11, a heat transfer element 12 charged and disposed in the shell 11, and a packing 13 for enclosing the element; a coating layer 14 having a corrosion resistance is formed on an inner surface of the shell 11, and an opening end of a boundary for bringing an outer surface of the packing 13 into contact with an inner surface of the shell 14 is sealed. |
