PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch connection and disconnection device capable of securing durability of a solenoid valve without causing a hindrance to power transmission. SOLUTION: A hydraulic pump 7 to inject oil in the inside of a hydraulic cylinder 4 is provided to move a piston 6 connected to a clutch 1 in a clutch disconnecting direction, a solenoid valve 8 to release oil is provided to move the piston 6 in a clutch connecting direction, and a hydraulic switch 17 to detect hydraulic pressure immediately before finishing clutch connection is provided. A phase transfer means to practice a starting or shift phase to gently move the piston by opening and closing the solenoid valve 8 at the time of starting clutch connecting motion and to practice an urgent connecting phase to speedily move the piston by opening the solenoid valve 8 when the clutch 1 starts transmitting motive power is provided.
