PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To join a hardened material to a soft magnetic material with a small expenditure for a tool and moreover in a batch type process. SOLUTION: In a method for joining a magnetic armature 18 of an electromagnetic actuator 10 to a shaft 20, an opening is provided in the armature 18. A step of the method, wherein a part of the shaft 20 is inserted into the opening and a space is formed between the shaft 20 and the armature 18, is incorporated in the joining method. A brazing filler metal is provided adjacent to the opening. The brazing filler metal is fused and penetrated into the space. The brazing filler metal is cooled to form a joined part between the shaft 20 and the armature 18. |
