PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recovering a water-absorbing material from an object to be treated constituted of coating the water absorbing material with a sheet having flexibility, with high recovery ratio without intrusion of foreign matters. SOLUTION: The object to be treated 1 is divided into plural cut pieces 1a, 1b, 1c by cutting with a shearing cutter such that the water-absorbing material 3 is exposed on the cut surface. Respective cut pieces 1a, 1b, 1c are separated into the sheet material 2 and the water-absorbing material 3 in an air fluidizing region. The separated water-absorbing material 3 is recovered. |
