<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color toner overall superior in fixability, offset resistance, color mixability, reproduction performance in highlight parts, and durability in large number of copying, and further, capable of smoothly forming full color images on the front and reverse side of transfer sheets and an image forming method using this color toner. SOLUTION: This color toner comprises color toner particles and exterior additives and it has a weight average particle diameter of 5-8μm, and the external additives added to the outsides of the color toner particles are an inorganic powder and a fine hydrophobic alumina powder, and the color toner particles have a chloroform insoluble fraction of 0-200 mg/g, and the color toner has a G'130 of 2×10<3> -2×10<4> [dyn/cm<2> ] and G'170 of 5×10<3> -5×10<4> [dyn/cm<2> ] and a G'170 /G'130 of 0.25-10.</p> |
