PURPOSE:To plasticize a molding material in a short time and suppress wear of a screw and cylinder, by a method wherein the molding material is plasticized while resonating the whole or/a part of a screw and/or a cylinder, especially performing n-wavelength resonance with an ultrasonic wave. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder 1 is provided with a hopper 8 on its left end part and a molding material such as thermoplastic plastic is fed into an insertion hole 9 of the cylinder 1 from the hopper 8. The fed molding material is moved rightward on an illustration while it is being plasticized by a rotating screw 2 and resonating cylinder 1 and discharged outside through an outflow port 10 under a plasticized state. The hopper 8 of a loading port of the molding material is designed so that its resonance frequency becomes the same with that of the cylinder 1 during molding as much as possible and it is preferable to fit to a position other than a joint part of a displacement wave form L, that is, a vibrating position of the cylinder 1. With this construction, since the hopper 8 also can be resonated along with the cylinder 1, generation of a bridging phenomenon on the molding material within the hopper 8 is prevented and feed of the material can be performed smooth. |
