PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clear image having a sufficient density, and at the same time, provide an excellent fastness, heat resistance and sebum resistance by a method wherein in a dye receiving layer of at least one surface of a base material sheet, specified amounts of two kinds of monomer units which are represented by the specified formulas are contained. SOLUTION: In the dye heat-transfer image receiving sheet which is constituted by forming a dye receiving layer at least on one surface of a base material sheet, the dye receiving layer is formed of a substance containing a resin which is constituted of 80 wt.% or more of a monomer unit represented by formula I, and 20 wt.% or lower of a monomer unit represented by formula II. Such a resin is prepared by cyano-ethylizing a so-called bisphenol A epoxy resin which is obtained by an reaction between 2,2-bis(4-hydroxyphenylpropane) and epihalohydrine. That is, the OH group of the monomer unit of the bisphenol A epoxy resin represented by the formula II is cyano-ethylized to obtain a resin. |
