PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the transferring and fixing properties of toner by coating a coating liquid consisting of a water soluble polymer, a cationic styrene acrylic copolymer epichlorohydrine quaternary compound or the like on a carrier consisting of mainly cellulose pulp or the like. SOLUTION: As a carrier of smooth surface recording paper having no coat layer containing a pigment, there is used an original paper formed of preparing, e.g. a 1,000 wt.kg pulp having a blending ratio of N-BKP/L-BKP=5/95 into a freeness of 450cc (CSF), and applying light calcium carbonate, white carbon (noncrystalline silica), fluorescent dye, sulfuric acid band, an inner sizing agent (neutral rosin), and the like. In addition, coated and impregnated therein is a coating liquid consisting of mainly polyvinyl alcohol, cationic styrene acrylic copolymer epichlorohydrine quaternary compound, and a cationic acrylic ester monomer copolymer in a predetermined amount, thereby producing a recording paper for electrophotography, ink jet, thermal transfer or the like. |
