<p>The invention concerns a device for converting one unit into another unit and in particular an amount in one currency into an amount in another currency, comprising two screens (11, 12) displaying the units, connected to an electronic central unit (2) comprising a computer (21) for converting one unit into another and a memory (22) containing computer programmes corresponding to different operating modes, controlled by at least two buttons (14, 15) for selecting the direction of the conversion from one unit to another; acquiring the number of the unit to be converted, displayed on one of the screens (11, 12), by successively incrementing of each figure of said number, each time one (14) of said buttons is pressed, each figure being validated by the other button (15); resetting, in the conversion mode, the values displayed on the screens (11, 12); the result of said conversion being displayed on the other screen (11, 12).</p> |
