<p>A cutting tool with a circular cutter body member (2) has at its outer circumference a plurality of individual projections (10) arranged spaced from one another about the cutter body with the space between successive projections defining receiving slots (12) for cutting blades (80, 82). The individual projections (10) comprise an outer surface, at least one of which includes a protrusion (16). Each of the slots (12) comprises opposing first and second side surfaces (29, 22) and an inner end portion with the inner end portion having a pair of angled mounting surfaces (24, 26). Each of the angled mounting surfaces is oriented at an angle of less than 90 degrees with respect to its respective side surface. Preferably, one of the mounting surfaces is oriented at an angle of about 60 degrees while the other mounting surface is oriented at an angle of about 30 degrees.</p> |
