<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an installation space, by locating insulating tubes for insulating external semiconductive layers of cables from a protective case around an insulating molding for covering insulating ends of the cables, and fastening the end of the protective case to the connection-side parts of the insulating tubes. SOLUTION: In a Y branch connection box, insulating tubes 5 are put on the end-side parts around each openings of an insulating molding 2, and therefore there is no chance that the insulating tubes 5 are installed in such a state as to overhang each openings of the insulating molding 2, thereby the connection sections becoming longer. Therefore, by connecting CV cables 21 using this Y branch connection box, the installation space of a manhole and the like can be reduced. Furthermore, the end-side parts around each openings of the insulating molding 2 where the insulating tubes 5 are put can be reduced in outer diameter. Therefore, there is no chance that the insulating tubes 5 overhang the insulating molding 2 and the installation space is increased.</p> |
