PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely prevent the needle of a syringe from sticking in a user's finger when the needle is erroneously inserted into a needle cap. SOLUTION: A finger sticking preventive flange 4, which protrudes at least 3 mm or more outward, is attached around the needle insertion hole 3 of a slimly tapered cylindrical cap main body 2 into which a syringe needle 11 is inserted. In another case, the finger sticking preventive flange 4 may be formed as a separate body and attached to the cap main body 2. In this case, the flange 4 may be made of resin so that the inner diameter of the cap main body insertion hole of the flange is almost the same as that of the rim of the needle insertion hole 3. And in addition, the flange 4 may be made of rubber so that the diameter of the cap main body insertion opening of the flange is smaller than that of the outer circumference of the cap main body 2, and fixed by pressure to the cap main body 2. |
