PURPOSE:To provide a print control method in which a part of image information, representative of bit patterns for one page to be printed, is transferred from a memory section and printing is carried out with ink onto a print paper while moving a head based on the image data thus transferred. CONSTITUTION:Image information is stored, prior to printing, in a first memory section 381 for storing image information representative of bit patterns for one page to be printed. A part of the image information is then transferred from the first memory section 381 to a second memory section 104 having capacity insufficient for one page but sufficient for a head 410. The head is moved based on the image information transferred to the second memory section 104 thus carrying out printing with ink onto a print paper. |
