MULTILAYERED FILM CONTAINING LIQUID CRYSTAL POLYMER AND POLY(ETHYLENE TEREPHTHALATE) OR POLYCARBONATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a multilayered film by heating two kinds of films to temp. exceeding the melting points of both films and the m.p. of a hot-melt adhesive under compression force or extruding molten polymers including the adhesive at the same time. SOLUTION: This film contains a layer comprising plycarbonate or poly(ethylene terephthalate), a thermotropic liquid crystal polymer layer and a hot-melt adhesive layer between these layers. In this case, the hot-melt adhesive is selected from a group consisting a polyolefin blend and a polyamide.
