PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information writing control method capable of obtaining a reproduced signal having a satisfactory CN ratio while maintaining correct recording pit shapes even in the case of performing a high- density write-in. SOLUTION: An input CD signal is delayed in a predetermined range in a first delay circuit 1 and the delayed signal is more delayed in a predetermined range in a second delay circuit 2 and a start part control signal, an intermediate part control signal and a completing part control signal are generated from output signals of these first and second delay circuits 1, 2 in a control signal generating circuit 3. Then, the input CD signal is divided into three parts of a stating part, an intermediate part and a completing part by respective control signals in a pulse forming circuit 4 and pulses corresponding to respective parts are generated in the circuit 4 and a space existing immediately before the input CD signal is recongnized and widths or amplitudes of respective pulses are controlled in accordance with this space in a pulse train control circuit 10. |
