FIELD: spot machining of toothed articles. SUBSTANCE: tool has operating part and body consisting of left- and right-hand parts positioned on mandrel and separated by distance ring. Tool is provided with springs arranged on operating part and secured on indicated parts of body. Springs are coated with abrasive material or operating members in the form of changeable cutting plates or changeable deforming or balls are secured on them.
