PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance productivity while reducing production cost, consumption of printing material and burden on an operator. SOLUTION: An operating plate is disposed at the neutral part of a rotary press and a start button is provided thereon. When an ink removing function is selected (102), a trial print system begins print operation of a set number of sheets and turns on the control of remaining number of sheet (104). It print operation is interrupted (105), residual number of sheets to be printed is indicated on the menu screen of the trial print system (106). An operator confirms the remaining number of sheets to be printed and performs operation for dealing with interruption of print operation (107) before depressing a start button (108). According to the method, print operation for the remaining number of sheets can be resumed accurately without calculating the remaining number of sheets. |
