PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance assembling performance and maintainability of an electronic controller for an air conditioner while decreasing the number of lead wires by mounting a serial/parallel conversion IC on a display section mounted with a liquid crystal, connecting a stepping motor to the display section and driving the stepping motor in response to a command from a main microcomputer. SOLUTION: A control section 15 mounting a main microcomputer 12 for controlling an air conditioner is mounted on a printed board 11 and a display section 19 mounting a liquid crystal 17, a driver IC 18 therefor and a serial/ parallel conversion IC 120 is mounted on a printed board 16. Using a serial communication path, i.e., lead wire 115, between the control section 15 and the display section 19, a serial signal is delivered tram the main microcomputer 12 to the IC 120 in order to drive a stepping motor 114 thus moving a wind deflector 113. Since the number of lead wires is decreased, assembling performance and maintainability can be enhanced. |
