OPTICAL FIBER AND COMBINED METAL COUPLED CORE WIRE AND OPTICAL AND METAL COMBINED COMMUNICATION CABLE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the switching of metal communication and optical communication and to provide a thin diameter and satisfactory handleable property by simultaneously coating a pair of conductor wires and an optical fiber arranged between them. SOLUTION: All a pair of conductor wires 21 and 21 and an optical fiber 22 arranged at the center between them are parallelly arranged in the lengthwise direction of an optical fiber/combined metal coupled core wire 20 so as to make their central axes into straight line on the cross section of the optical fiber/combined metal coupled core wire 20 orthogonal to its axial center direction. A pair of these conductor wires 21 and 21 and the optical fiber 22 are integrated into almost spectacles-shaped cross section by a batch coating layer 23 composed of plastic such as polyethylene and become the optical fiber/combined metal coupled core wire 20. The optical fiber/ combined metal coupled core wire 20 is composed of one pair×one fiber by integrating a pair of conductor wires 21 and 21 and the optical fiber 22 of one fiber. By twisting the optical fiber/combined metal coupling core wire 20, it can be used as a coupled twisted wire.
